Up to Speed

Lady Gaga was awesome. The concert was sooo long (think 6 hours) that at the end I was equal parts desperately wanting to crawl into bed (or a nice, hot bath) and wanting the night to last forever. This was my first Lady Gaga concert and though I loved her music and what she stood for, I didn't really know what kind of person she was IRL. But now, I can definitely tell you that she is one hard working woman, down-to-earth, and incredibly smart. She doesn't distance herself from her fans like most celebrities and I loved that she was genuinely laughing and smiling the whole time. She was running around with 6 inch Louboutin boots on the whole time! Also, she's tiny! Like as small as I am or tinier!

Before the concert!
peplum top: ASOS | leather panel skirt: CottonOn ($5!) | heels: H&M x MMM (via eBay) | bag: BagInc So Soho

Lecturing us to love one another and work hard for our dreams.

Nothing picks me up after a long week like korean food! At Myung Ga in SLC.

  6. Awww, you are so lucky to see her live. I wish I could go to concerts but I hate crowds. I totally love your outfit and the shoes. Did you guys sit down at all or did you stand up all night? My husband would have to be carrying me home if I had to stand in heels all night, I'm such a wimp with heels.

    Have a great day!!

    1. I hate crowds too, but it was worth it to see her less than 10 ft away. We never sat once since standing in line for the concert- YUCK. I'm such a wimp too, but on the plus side my heels are definitely broken in!
